The Spencer Grant Proposal assignment was submitted to Dr. Pittman on February 19, 2012.
I wrote a grant in order to obtain funding to support my research work on working with students with autism in the library setting. Unfortunately, the Spencer Grant is not currently open for submissions. I would have liked to have actually submitted this grant and I might do some investigation and see if there are any other grant programs out there that might work for me.
The process of writing this grant was an informative one. I have completed other, smaller grants but did not realize until now how much work these documents take to complete. However, I do know that once you understand the process and if you follow the criteria and submission rules, you can use much of what you created for one grant for other submissions - much of the information is similar.
